Gurvinder Singh Chohan helped found Mwana Villages in 2009, and his sustained fundraising efforts have helped vulnerable women and orphaned children in the Republic of Congo receive care, housing, schooling and vocational training. His involvement with various cultural organizations in Quebec has helped ensure public access to social programming and events.
