In 2006, Robert Mainguy and a group of volunteers established the Coopérative de Santé Lac Champlain, for which he served as president for 10 years. He also spent more than a decade volunteering with such organizations as the Lake Champlain Tourism Initiative Corporation, Lake Champlain Cycling Day, Venise-sur-le-Lac complex, and the Jacques Landry Foundation’s golf tournament.
