For the past 25 years, Joan Michetti has been the team leader of the Look Good Feel Better program at three Montréal-area hospitals, where she hosts monthly workshops to help women manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. She also launched a similar program for teenage girls at both the Montreal Children’s Hospital and St. Justine Hospital to help them rebuild their confidence and self-esteem.
