James O’Brien has been an active member of the Canadian Association of Veterans in UN Peacekeeping for almost three decades, serving as president and treasurer of the Ottawa chapter as well as chair of the national board of directors. He has provided guidance and counsel to the national executive regarding the formation of new chapters across Canada.
