Evan Kosiner is the co-founder of Skate To Great, a charity that collects new and used skates for underprivileged children. Under the motto, "Every kid in Canada should have the opportunity to skate," Mr. Kosiner has convinced private companies, community associations and sport organizations to come on board as national supporters. With over 40 volunteers supporting the operation and collection locations available throughout the country, roughly 1 500 pairs of skates have been collected to date. Mr. Kosiner also volunteers his time hosting a television show on Rogers Community TV, in Toronto.
