Stanley Dragland has had an indelible impact on the quality of writing in Canada. Professor emeritus at Western University, he is highly regarded for his expertise and mentorship, and has inspired countless emerging authors. A member of numerous professional writing associations, including the Association of Canadian Publishers, he co-founded the poetry publishing house Brick Books and Brick magazine, considered one of Canada’s most esteemed literary publications. His written work has received critical acclaim and he remains a leading figure on the scene.
