An athlete, administrator, educator and scholar, Bruce Kidd has devoted his life to eradicating sexism and racism in sporting communities around the world. As director of the International Campaign Against Apartheid Sport, he built bridges of cooperation between diverse groups and cultures. His great love of sport has made him a powerful advocate, as he successfully lobbied government to promote the value of physical activity in our daily lives. He has also shared his vast knowledge with students at the University of Toronto, where he serves as dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Health.
