A geologist, Bill James has played an integral role in securing a healthy future for the mining industry and its employees. While president of Falconridge Limited and Denison Mines, he faced serious financial challenges head-on, successfully leading both companies to an economic recovery. In addition to his accomplishments in the resource sector, he is credited with guiding the growth of many of Canada's largest companies. He has served with distinction on the board of directors of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Clarica, among others.
