Clayton Riddell is a renowned exploration geologist and a leader in the Canadian petroleum industry. In addition to heading Paramount Resources Ltd., a natural gas and oil exploration company, he has shared his expertise with the Geological Association of Canada and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, where he helped to develop a program that encourages and supports students to pursue studies in geology. He is also a committed volunteer and generous philanthropist in support of several other organizations, notably the University of Manitoba, where his endowment spearheaded the creation of the Faculty of Environment, Earth and Resources.
