Valerie Pringle has consistently displayed versatility and the ability to connect with viewers, making her one of this country's most beloved journalists. Since beginning her career in the early 1970s as a reporter with CFRB Toronto, she has chronicled many of the landmark events of our times. She has hosted or produced a number of popular television programs for several major networks. Giving freely of her time, she also volunteers with the Trans Canada Trail Foundation, the Ontario Special Olympics and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, among others. In addition, she is a generous benefactor to organizations and aspiring journalists.
