Following a distinguished military career, he is deeply committed to ensuring that the memory of those who sacrificed so much for their country in war is not forgotten. A member of the Canadian War Museum Advisory Committee, he is a founding member and President of the Canadian Battle of Normandy Foundation. He is involved with many defence-related organizations and is currently Chairman of the Conference of Defence Associations. His service and selfless dedication to Canada serve as an example for all Canadians.
