This former Chief Justice of Manitoba distinguished himself on the bench for more than 30 years, during which he contributed greatly to the province's legal system. An officer of the French Legion of Honour and past President of the Canadian Association for French Language Education, he is also an ardent supporter of French education in Manitoba.
