She is a model of community and public service. The city of North Vancouver has benefited from her outstanding voluntary commitments and her extensive service as a municipal councillor. For over 30 years, she has made significant contributions to the areas of crime prevention, heritage preservation, enhancement of the environment and promotion of the arts. She has offered her leadership to numerous groups, such as the B.C. Crime Prevention Association, the North Shore Folkfest and the City of North Vancouver Heritage Advisory Commission.
