Howard Haney is a lifelong farmer and respected leader in the agriculture industry. He has devoted his time and skills to benefiting and strengthening the agricultural community and co-operative movement of western Canada. Dedicating 30 years of service to the United Farmers of Alberta, he served for 17 years as president during which time it became one of Canada's largest agricultural organizations. He was also instrumental in establishing the Co-operative Chair in Agricultural Marketing and Business at the University of Alberta.
