Rolph Huband is passionate about bringing Canadian history to life. As Vice-President of the Hudson's Bay Company, he coordinated the donation of the Company's archives, museum artifacts and full-size replica of the merchant ship Nonsuch to the Manitoba government. This priceless historical collection, which documents the settlement of western Canada in the 17th and 18th centuries, is now accessible to scholars, researchers and the general public. As founding chair of Canada's National History Society, publisher of The Beaver magazine and director of the Hudson's Bay History Foundation, he has helped to promote and develop our growing interest in Canadian history.
