An advocate for social work, she has been a pioneer in every aspect of the profession in New Brunswick. Her quest to deliver the best possible service led to new professional standards. Through her vision and leadership, innovative groundbreaking programs were established for clients and their families. Her dedication has also extended to volunteering her time, thus ensuring that the gaps in services were filled. On the eve of her retirement, she added to her legacy by co-founding the program Help Au Secours, a 24-hour telephone help line.
