He was one of the pioneers of Canadian filmmaking at the National Film Board of Canada, where he set up the Francophone unit. For many years this prolific filmmaker produced and directed short and feature films, hundreds of commercials and as many documentaries, several of which won international awards. His tremendous talent earned him the position of audiovisual director coordinator for Expo 67. A master in his field, he has also been a member of several international film juries and has been in demand worldwide as a communications consultant.
