A chaplain to alcoholics and drug addicts at the Centre hospitalier Saint-Franþois d'Assise, he has dedicated his career to those stricken by these illnesses. He is a co-founder of the first rehabilitation clinic for alcoholics in Quebec and of a program to train specialists in the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction at the Université de Sherbrooke. His vision and determination have been a source of inspiration to other professionals and volunteers working in this field.
