For nearly a decade, he has done volunteer work for the Quebec Section of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. He has developed awareness and education campaigns and organized fundraising drives aimed at furthering research into this disease. Recently retired from his duties as Quebec Appeal Court Justice, he continues to be an example of courage and joie de vivre to his fellow citizens.
