This tireless and devoted volunteer has spent more than 30 years giving back to his community. A journalist by trade, Sultan Jessa is renowned for his outstanding fundraising abilities, boundless energy, leadership and commitment. Organizations such as the Children's Treatment Centre, the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery and the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, among many others, have benefited from his voluntarism. As president of the Cornwall Multicultural Council and the Ontario Folk Arts Multicultural Council, he promoted understanding among Canada's various ethnic and cultural groups.
