A businessman and philanthropist, he is Chief Executive Officer of the Hallman Group of Companies. A strong supporter of health care and education, he is Governor of the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital Foundation and a founding member of the board of directors of Conrad Grebel College. Committed to the betterment of his community, he has provided financial resources to the Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation and has funded an institute and professorship at the University of Waterloo Faculty of Applied Health Sciences.
