Called the leading heroic tenor of our times, Ben Heppner has reached the pinnacle of his profession and is a pre-eminent musical ambassador for our nation. Known for both the power and subtlety of his voice, he performs with the world's best orchestras in major opera houses around the globe. Both his live performances and his recordings consistently garner glowing reviews, and he has been showered with honours and awards. Still, he makes time to help at the community level. A man of deep faith, he sings for the benefit of his church, and for national and provincial lung associations. Very much devoted to Canada, he has performed in rural and urban centres throughout the country. This is a promotion within the Order.

Choosing to make his home in Canada, he gives generously of his time here, performing benefit concerts for many organizations, including the Mennonite Economic Development Associates and the Lung Association.
