Robert Schad's flair for excellence as an entrepreneur, employer and corporate citizen revolutionized the plastics manufacturing industry. Since founding Husky Injection Molding Systems in 1953, he has been at the forefront of developing economically viable and environmentally sustainable technology. Profoundly committed to nature conservation, he supports the Jane Goodall Institute as well as Earth Rangers, a wildlife refuge and outdoor education interpretive centre for children. By instilling the need for progressive management practices within his organization, and with his innovative engineering designs, he has earned the reputation of being a role model in the business community.
