She is Co-founder and Managing Director of Nova Scotia's Mermaid Theatre. Her creativity and managerial talent have ensured the company a sterling reputation for quality theatre for young people in Canada and abroad. Throughout its thirty-year history, Mermaid's multimedia adaptations of children's literature, in which puppetry features prominently, have acquainted hundreds of thousands of young people with classic literary works.
