As a volunteer with the `Living Room', an Ottawa drop-in centre, she has offered unconditional love and spiritual counselling to people in need. Her extended ministry has reached out to and comforted drug addicts, street people, and persons living with AIDS and HIV. She has had a profound impact upon the legions of lives she has touched and on the community at large, by creating an environment of mutual respect and understanding.
