Hugo Eppich’s innovative spirit permeates his business life, his community and his own home. The metal fabrication and plating firm that he co-founded with his twin brother, Helmut, has progressively undertaken technologically challenging projects while celebrating the diversity of its employees. A generous donor of time, funds and ideas, he has staunchly supported multiculturalism, the arts and education. The dramatic home of curved steel and glass he commissioned from the late architect Arthur Erickson stands as an icon of Canadian modern architecture.
