Throughout his distinguished career as an arbitrator and judge, he has ensured fair play and integrity in amateur and professional sport worldwide, notably as an inaugural and long-standing member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport and as commissioner of Athletics Canada. A devoted volunteer, he has supported and elevated the Canadian sports system through his engagement with various organizations.
