He has served our country with integrity and distinction for almost forty years in various positions of great responsibility, notably as Secretary of the Treasury Board, Comptroller General of Canada, and President of the Public Service Commission. He was always been committed to ensuring that the Public Service would adapt to a changing society, particularly during the 1990s. Now President of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, he continues to make a major contribution to the Public Policy Forum.
