He is a remarkable example of the difference one person can make. Over many years, his unrelenting efforts helped to mobilize support on both sides of the Canadian/American border for the protection of the shoreline, wetlands and watershed of his beloved Lake Memphremagog. His personal influence and dedication have inspired local residents, school children, biologists, lawyers, geographers and others to become involved in protecting our natural heritage from environmental degradation for the enjoyment of future generations.
