From his roots in the Second City Comedy troupe to his role as one of the original Blues Brothers, he has become an entertainer of international stature. The stage, screen and television characters he has created have brought laughter to audiences around the world and his celebrity status has contributed to the success of many fundraising events in Canada. His alma mater, Carleton University in Ottawa, as well as arts, health and youth programs in Kingston have benefited from his involvement.
