She is a dedicated businesswoman who has devoted much of her life to the community of Grand-Falls as well as to economic development and tourism in New Brunswick. She is actively involved in many non-profit organizations, such as the Fondation des Amis de l'Hôpital Général. In recognition of her commitment to the tourism sector, she was the first woman in New Brunswick to be named Entrepreneur of the Year. She serves as an example of the vital role played by the private sector in job creation.
