His actions have illustrated his conviction that it is a responsibility of business to take an active role in shaping society. A successful executive and chairman of the Imagine Campaign to encourage philanthropy, he has influenced corporations to accept responsibility for the social well-being of the community. Particularly concerned about the future of our youth, he is a founding director of Career Edge, a national youth internship program and Chair of the Learning Partnership, which encourages cooperation between the business and educational sectors.
