An influential businessman in the Charlevoix region, for nearly thirty years, this philanthropist has spent much of his spare time promoting the economic, cultural and social development of his community. A great heritage advocate, he contributes generously to the preservation and development of his region's cultural heritage. He played a decisive role in the development of Le domaine Forget. Thanks to his dedication, it has become, not only a music school that welcomes professors, musicians and artists of international stature, but also a centre of cultural life.
