One of Saskatoon's quintessential volunteers, she has devoted her time, boundless energy and financial assistance to help disadvantaged children, to promote a cleaner and safer environment and to educate the public on the need to take responsibility in promoting the rights of the child. She has demonstrated a long-term commitment to development and peace agencies, particularly Save the Children Canada and the Council for International Cooperation, and by her example, has encouraged others to become involved.
