Throughout her career, she has contributed significantly to public policy and the debate on economic and social issues. Her objectivity and professionalism as Chair of the Economic Council of Canada were widely regarded. She continues to offer thoughtful commentary as well as practical research and advice as a Fellow of the School of Policy Studies at Queen's University and President of Canadian Policy Research Networks.
