From the high-tech operating rooms of the Toronto General Hospital to a dilapidated clinic in the Bahamas, he has used his surgical skills to heal injured bodies and damaged hearts. A well-known cardiovascular surgeon, he was at the forefront of his specialty, developing advanced techniques for heart surgery and assisting in the first human heart valve transplant. He continues to care for others as a volunteer physician to disadvantaged people in the Abaco Islands.
