His tireless dedication over the years to raising awareness of the tragic consequences of impaired driving has resulted in a groundswell of public support for legislative reform. In changing society's attitudes towards drinking and driving, he has helped to make our roads safer, reducing alcohol-related traffic fatalities through improved law enforcement practices. His leadership and voluntary efforts with Mothers Against Drunk Driving have led to the development of a nation-wide support network for accident victims.
