For almost thirty years she has waged a courageous battle to win recognition for disabled persons' right to education and their right to work. She has worked as a volunteer on behalf of organizations whose principal mission is to assist persons with disabilities. In one such role, she served as President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada's Quebec region telethon. Displaying unwavering patience and generosity, she reassures and encourages everyone she encounters. Thanks to her tremendous determination, she has been able to lend assistance to hundreds of people.
