As the President of one of Canada's leading beauty supply companies that features products for Black consumers, she has been a role model for businesswomen. She has established a foundation in her name, which offers scholarships enabling young people to reach their full potential, and constantly raises funds to benefit the foundation, her community and educational institutions. Most notably, she was Toronto's fund-raising co-chair of the unique James Robinson Johnston Endowed Chair in Black Studies at Dalhousie University. Through her leadership and commitment, she has set an example within the ever-changing Canadian business scene.
