From his beginnings as a radio announcer, he went on to become the General Manager of Community and Corporate Affairs at an Alberta television station. Many will remember his poignant documentary, "Wednesday's Child", which increased public awareness of the need for adoptive homes for children with physical, emotional or mental handicaps. Now in semi-retirement, he has worked to raise funds for the Edmonton Public Library, the Canadian Association of Shriners and the Good Neighbour Society in Edmonton.
