This Lennoxville surgeon has given compassionate medical relief to his patients in Canada and in Third World countries. As a volunteer missionary, he has travelled at his own expense to some of the world's poorest nations to teach and heal. A true humanitarian, he has lessened the suffering of some of the most vulnerable members of society, including battered women and children, the homeless or those struggling with substance abuse. He played a pivotal role in the establishment and management of two local institutions dedicated to the care of senior citizens, in addition to founding Maplemount Homes for children in need.
