He is highly respected for his efforts to improve the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular disorders. As Head of the Division of Neurology at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, he has gained an international reputation for his research on the management of Parkinson's Disease and the effects of drug treatments. In addition to his research achievements, he provides caring assistance to persons with Parkinson's and was instrumental in establishing the Saskatchewan Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
