A Professor of Management at McGill University, he has challenged conventional beliefs regarding strategic management, and has developed original theories on the design, nature and operational style of organizations. He is also an insightful scholar with several related books and articles to his credit. Largely responsible for creating a joint doctoral program in Administration at four Montreal universities, he has had an enormous impact on business education and practice around the world.
