Founder of the Institut Louis-Braille and Vice-President of the Fondation Cypihot-Ouellette, he has served the needs of people with visual impairments for more than sixty years. He is also a generous patron, providing significant support to the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal and the Musée régional de Joliette. Literary, musical and cinematic organizations have also benefited from his great generosity. His contribution has not only enriched the cultural life of his fellow citizens, it has also improved the quality of life of people with visual impairments.
