A pioneer in professional informatics and telecommunications services, he is the founder and president of his own company in Verdun, a company that has contributed to the boom in this dynamic industry both at home and abroad. As a result of his expertise, he was chosen to head the commission on the future of electronics and software in Quebec, which led to the creation of the Centre de recherche informatique de Montréal. He has also made a significant contribution to education as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Université du Québec à Montréal, and as a member of the Conseil consultatif international des Hautes Études Commerciales.
