A tireless worker, he is the founder and soul of the MIRA Foundation. For almost fifteen years his major concern and primary objectives have been to enhance the lives of those with visual impairment, providing them with guide dogs, defending their rights as people with disabilities and sensitizing the general population to the problems and effects of blindness. Thanks to his dedication and unflagging efforts, the guide-dog training centre supported by MIRA is now recognized as one of the best in the world.
