A respected journalist, social activist and educator, she has dedicated her life to helping disadvantaged people -- the poor, the oppressed and refugees. As the founding editor of the Catholic New Times, she created a forum for interfaith discussion on social and political issues, then moved beyond dialogue to practical action. She continues to live her commitment to peace, justice and human rights, inspiring others to do the same.
