Highly regarded in legal circles, he has held a number of important positions in the course of his career, including President of the Quebec Bar. Known for his willingness to help and his service to the profession, he has repeatedly demonstrated his dedication by undertaking numerous difficult tasks in the interest of both the legal profession and the general public. In addition to his career as a lawyer, he has achieved military distinction, and is Honorary Colonel of the Régiment de la Chaudière.
