He has had a varied and successful career in business and the public service where he contributed to the economic and social development of his city and province. As well, he has dedicated himself to Native issues and many community endeavours. He has been actively involved in a number of Aboriginal organizations in Alberta, providing sage advice, sitting on boards of directors and volunteering his time. A highly respected and trusted friend of the Aboriginal communities, he has been honoured by them for his long-time devotion.
