A pioneer who built the first private French-language television station in Quebec City, he also created the Television Network Quatre Saisons, the only private French network that broadcasts outside Quebec to Manitoba, Ontario and the Maritimes. In addition to his contributions to the Canadian broadcasting system, he also offers free broadcasts of the annual "Téléthon des Étoiles", which raises research funds for Montreal hospitals specializing in children's diseases.
